About Envoy

One day, someone on your company’s executive team is going to ask how you plan to use AI to scale your department and make it run more effectively.
We want to be the source you trust to answer that question.
Envoy is a publication for facilities leaders who are obsessed with making their departments run better. We write about AI, modern tools and better ways of working to help you decide what could change in yours.
Maybe you’re the first facilities hire at a growing company, building the department while doing the work yourself. Maybe you lead an established team and want to figure out what’s worth changing. Envoy is for both.
Our point of view
AI agents can handle well-defined, repeatable tasks. People bring judgment, connection, nuance and accountability. Leaders decide how it all fits together.
That means getting specific about the work. What needs to happen? Who makes the call? Where can a tool help?
Better processes and technology should give people room to improve service, develop their skills and get to the problems that keep getting pushed aside by one more follow-up.
What we write about
- Technology and tools: What they do, how people use them, and where their limits matter.
- Processes and organization: How work gets from one person to the next, who owns it, and how decisions get made.
- Hiring and management: What to hire people to do, how to help them get good at it, and how teams can work with AI.
- Working experience: The experiments, decisions and lessons from our own work.
Where our perspective comes from
We build software and develop agents. We also find, hire and manage people. AI is part of how we do the work, and we share what we learn along the way, including the choices behind it.
An Envoy article should help you understand what’s changing, make a better decision, or see a better way to work. If it doesn’t help with any of those, we have more work to do.
